Privacy Policy
Effective: 8 August 2026 · Version 1.0 · Operated by Awesome Pegasus Limited (RC 8133373), trading as Titlewarslive Entertainment Concepts, Lagos, Nigeria.
1. The controller
Awesome Pegasus Limited (RC 8133373), Lagos, Nigeria — contact@titlewars.live. We process personal data under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).
2. What we collect
- Account data: handle, email, password (hashed), and — if you verify — phone number and a liveness check result.
- Participation data: entries, votes, offers, titles, badges and contest records.
- Payment data: processed by licensed Nigerian payment processors; we receive confirmations, never your full card details.
- Technical data: device, approximate location, and analytics events (see Cookies Policy).
3. Why we process it
- To run the platform and contests you enter (contract).
- To prevent fraud, duplicate accounts and vote manipulation (legitimate interest).
- To meet legal obligations, including age limits.
- To send service messages; marketing only with your consent.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share only with processors who run the platform (hosting, database, payments, analytics) under contract, and where the law requires. Public by design: your handle, titles, badges, contest results and registry entries — that visibility is the product, and you control what you enter.
5. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and for limited periods afterwards as the law requires. Contest records and the Registry are permanent by design, in pseudonymous handle form. Rejected verification data is deleted promptly.
6. Your rights
Under the NDPA you may access, correct, delete, or port your data, object to processing, and complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Write to contact@titlewars.live — we respond within statutory timelines.
7. Security & children
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and accounts are protected by authentication. The platform is 18+; we do not knowingly process children's data and remove it when discovered.
